Uber Mercs

Well, I think that since we have the option to train soldiers into Super Soldiers, we should be able to train mercs into Super Mercs. I mean, we have to buy the mercs, so wouldnt it bee cool if we could like Super Train them? That way we would have more trrops to put as Miners/Spies/Anti-Covert.
I am suggesting this for both main and Quantum servers.
Please reply whether you think it is good or bad.

You cannot "train" mercenaries. They are hired workers.

I think your forgetting something, to get supers you need to get a large amount of uu. This usually takes a while and a bit of naq. If you could just buy super mercs, then it would become so much easier to build your defence and offensive strike, while simultaniously making the game eaiser. While it is a good idea, it may just make sgw easier

i meant that you had to buy the mercs first, and then you could super train the mercs. i dont mean just buy the super-trained mercs.

probably not a good idea as it will just increase the divide between rich and strong players and small and weak who cant afford them.
also if it affects everyone equally an everyone can by them the logically there is no need as the benefits are the same.
Also it would just make you even more depresse that you lose a more expensive unit

I like it.
You buy a merc, but you keep it long enough you train it to fit into your army's system, and it becomes a super merc. And like regular units it would cost more to make the super. So perhaps the power % of regular mercs might need to be lowered a bit to make the super mercs the right % balance of power compared to a regular super unit.
Also as with regular supers, merc supers can't be untrained, and are lost if you ascend.

To have everyone happy make it like that:
buy 5 mercs to get a super merc (you can buy supermercs alone they cost like 40k naq each but for 1000 super mercs you need 5000 mercs). It works like supers in ascension, but super mercs aren't as strong as supers soldiers and die more easily than them!

why not just have a smaller % of them
and say, a regular merc can only become a super merc after being within one's realm for 15 days.

I completely agree, if it all equals out wiht every1 all it will do is increase attacks and defenses, a pointless thing to do in my opinion.
and, da31fox, the game can be a little confusing for a newbie when they first start out, when i first started out 2 years ago before all the major updates i had a bit of trouble until my CO helped me out (although id never played an online game before). now theres raiding, ascension, MS, planets, AC, and the list goes on. even reading the guide when you start the game its still a little hard to understand somethings without a players help. so yes i think if we brought in something else it would make it a bit more confusing to figure out, especially for ppl that have never played a game like sgw before.
