A question about the cropped rules.

Does this mean it is now ok for people to create forum banners/avatars/gifs/flash images that offend others, contain other player names, ridicule, make fun of others?

Why did you remove that rule?

I always thought that was a good rule to have...

your saying the rules should be set by the community??

Rules are imposed on the community - surley its counter productive to have them choose which rules they want - from the standpoint of a decent person ( anon bias one etc) they should be the rules set - so that as soon as the community feels they don't like something they change the rules :S

besides...I'm sure respect for others (or oneself) is something everyone wants...

When did the community decide these rules, or change its mind about it in the first place? ....

That was a really bizarre response by the way.

letting in abusive and crude banners will make this forum go even further downhill

u will have strippers in sigs............

u will have rude and crude messages made about others in the sigs or implying such..........

the rule about not being able to use others names or alliances without permission, kept alot of bad stuff out of forum............takign that rule away is ASKING for trouble............fair warning

Oh come on..............

You all know that if enough people complain about something back in the day the forum rules got changed, not like it is a shock, I was a mod also and I remember threads where we talked about rules to create due to outcries by the community.

Yes, it was time for a reset in the rules and the way the community has been running as everyone was screaming for a change, well, you got the change, go with it and show that you are not just complain for the sake of complaining.

If you have nothing important to say, don't post.

I'm bringing up a valid point, its not complaining. I'm asking a question and bringing something to the mods attention that may leave them vulnerable as there is no longer a rule to cover it.

But thank you for trying to start trouble where wasn't any.
Good job.

Hmm, out of all the possibly removable rules, why that one? :?

I foresee the complete and utter destruction of this forum in the not to distant future.

Just because you are too dense to understand it doesn't mean there is no point.

But anyway, we both know why you are posting things like this, just love stirring trouble for everyone and anyone you can.

About rules, plz check what was asked for, here: viewtopic.php?f=128&t=90565

Also if you didnt see it already read this: viewtopic.php?f=71&t=72024

Problem is:

We have a rule: lots of ppl complain for as long as it takes.
We remove it: the other part of the community starting it.

So I decided to let you guys complain to each other until you reach an agreement, since we cant do anything without complaints anyway.
