Mothership vs Ascension

One of my alliance members recently ascended and kept his whole mothership. (not only 60%, but 100% - with all weapons and slots) Can anyone confirm whether there has been any update to this effect?
I'm not sure if this is the right place for such a query, so mods, please move it if it's in the wrong place!

There wasn't such an update 2 weeks ago and I strongly doubt there is one now.
Then again...

Use the Forum, 'Game Suggestions' catagory, to suggest new features, changes to current features, or even rebalancing of existing features if you feel they are too strong/weak/etc....

Keeping 100% MS after ascending is one of the worst updates ever. Now all the people with gigantic MS can ascend without loosing their most prized posession. And MS's are going to become ridicoulusly huge now.
I certainly hope MS does not add anything to APP. Since you dont loose it and all...

The amount of APP you get for your ms is really really small. I like the update.

ms conversion has been removed and no longer displayed.

honestly, i would have prefered something like u could sell ur ms weapons and shields, for a lower amount u bought ofc, like a normal weapon, or just keep the 60%
