i've just been given an account and need to transfer some naq and UU to the new account. trouble is the former owner of the account didnt have time to wait for me to do this as he's at work.

if i was to set the broker up from my original account then sign in to the new account would it OK or will it ban the IP?

i wont be a multi as my original account will go to someone else, just incase someone tries to point it out :-D

didnt know where to post this so if it needs to be moved then please do so :-)

i think it would be okay cos when me and my mate who used to play had a shared IP, it took about 24/48 hours to stop us trading / him being my officer and getting benefits, so would seem there's some sort of human element that's there not automatic.

i would emaili support and get a confirmation, or use a third party player send to him then to new account.

It should be fine as long as you don't keep the other account. But still it's walking a fine line.

-Send the old stuff to a trusted friend
-log out that account
-Sell or delete that account before you log out, ensure its for the last time
-Send the stuff ot the new account

-I dont think you can set brokers the both accounts, as they are both on your IP.

WHATEVER you do once youve transfered the stuff play the new account only, if you log into the old one you will die.

unless things have changed when i wasnt looking, accounts consistantly shared by the same IP are suspended - unless you send an email to the GM telling him your sharing the IP with someone else in the house and not multing.

so it is death, tis just ingame death.

There is a fine line, I myself went through a similar situation and (as of yet) not banned.

My suggestion would be to broker everything away (to a third party), logout, have the third party broker it to your new account.

Even through i wasnt able to do it in one go (50mil limit -_-;) I havnt been banned, just dont log back into your old account after its done, and have it all done in a few minutes and you should be fine.
