after reading a thread in galcom and a few of tok'ra's posts(i hate him and his minions BTW) and especially after some of the resent events such as the ETL impersonator i have to ask...is this forum dieing?

has it not occurred to the forum admin that if this forum dies (is allowed to die) the game will for sure, go the same way as the Dodo?!?!

or am i overreacting?

this used to be a great forum with some colorful characters, theres only a few "colorful" ones left where have the rest gone?

perhaps your just having an emotional time?

what they could do....is completely wipe the forum of topics. EVERYTHING. Start the entire forum again. (<----- poor post counts for spammers ) re-select mods from forum user votes, or from admin. people stop **Filtered** over crappy things, and just get on with it.

But this wont happen so i tend to follow the stop **Filtered** and get on with it.

It wont make a difference they will just re-select the same mods over, most of the posts now are only aimed at 2 mods, as they seem to be the problem, maybe the main admin of the forums should look into that first, then things may start to resolve themselves.

Other than that, this forum is on a freight train to hell.

i never denied anything, yes there have been BIG problems brewing quite some time now, and i have been playing this game longer than you and Tokra put together.

i know what game your talking about but maybe J.S has chosen to ignore the fact that Tok'ra tried to sell AK secrets (i dont know what secrets he could have told them since omega had FULL access to AK boards at the time) during our war with omega...a fact that was brought to my attention by our enemy at the time!

wes strikes me as an attention seeker, nothing more nothing less.

Ive talked to him about that,

He mainly sought to sell out Uroguard, who made some despicable comments making fun of ETLs ill health, ETL is a fellow military man, and at the time Tok'ra was in Iraq. Kinda understandable hed be pissed about how a fellow soldier was treated. Especily when Bahaut did nothing to punish uroguard for those comments.

regardless, he should have kept it internall, seeing how i was 2ic of AK at the time why did he not come to me about it seeing how i was more or less running AK single handedly at the time???

anyways, dont even answer the above, i would rather we get back on topic

i too think this forum is dying ...

i still play sgw but i visit the forums very rarely and posting is even more rare from me ... and i started the game march ´06 ... not one of the very old players, but still, one and a half year

All these topics about mods and the forums are the same old **Filtered**, presented in a new way...boring. This has got to be at least the 4th/5th one I have read in the past fortnight...

i say bring back ETL and put him incharge of the forum!

I dont think the Forum is going down, more that it has entered anarchy and chaos.

The whole mod business now and before, is just helping this along. Also the players creating forum accounts and creating posts, such as the ETL Farewell post, its just wasting people's time and so people will not bother to read half of the posts created.

Personally i couldnt care who was the Mod or is the mods presently, aslong as their fair, and get on with the job and my personal feeling is get these stupid multi accounts deleted, so people are actually speaking on behalf of themselves and not as a group of unknowns.

Doubt ill now read anything on the general section forum because its just wasting my time -_-
