I think the new system of mod anonymity is also a grip for many people, myself included.

Yeah.. there have been too many threads about this sort of thing lately.

But I don't suppose it's going to go away, is it? May as well let people get it out of their systems.

Well, even if the mods themselves weren't responsible, I do think it's a significant contributing factor to the overall 'decay' of the forums and the recent negativity in the air.

I dunno, his post is more reasonably and articulately put together than many people's are when it comes to the forums. Better than the guy who went around calling mods fags, at least.

Im assuming thats directed at me and Tok`ra.

How are we not helping the problem ?

By suggesting ways to fix it ? By trying to get a community discussion over ways to fix it going ?

Im so sorry, I forgot that polite reasonable discussion was so destructive.

Actualy, most of my suggestion posts were written by Tok`ra. Those that wernt, he gave me the general idea for what to write.

If you can objectvly read his old posts (tho with the deletion of his fourm account good luck finding them) youll see hes been suggesting the same thing for a LONG time, and rarley if ever called the mods fags.

Because you (and Tokra) make 100 or even more post a day, and with that speed noone can keep up. Also your brain might handle all the topics you posted in, but mine cant (and its not a small one to say the less). So if you would limit yourself to 1 issue and 20 posts a day that would be easier to handle. If you really have that much freetime, try having various plants around;) (That helped me a lot for eg.)

Its only a forum.

It is what you make it.

If you make it a bad place by complaining, it will become such a place.

Was that a suggestion to take up a gardening hobby, become a vegetarian, or start smoking pot? ;)

Haha. So now, in addition to Trife, we have forum admin taking the 'lol its only a forum god lol get a life' line.

Yes, it's only a forum, and it's not very important in the grand scheme of things. But this is only a game, and not very important in the grand scheme of things either. If you have diseases to cure, or you're too busy to do the job you volunteered for, then perhaps it's time for you to give up one or the other.

1) Sorry, I didn't post any insults here on this thread. What I did post is what is happening - you guys are beating this issue like a dead horse. Sure, calling for changes is perfectly okay if/when things aren't quite the way you want them. The worst way to go about trying to change something is to go around on the forums making 5 threads/day about essentially the same topic and word them as you do. Instead of taking your threads as advice/suggestions, they'll probably mark it up to spam and/or you just being an attention hog.

2) Oh boo hoo, I disagree with your crusade for a new forum/complete forum overhaul. So, let's pull out the threats. Seems like I need to pull out these again for you:
