your meaning? you have something against australia? :P

a bit of a rant in the spoiler box. keeping it tidy :P
Yuvraj Singh and the new guy on the team in my opinion have been a source of ill mannered controversy. im happy for india winning the 20/20 world cup but over the past few years, my distaste for their political power amongst the ICC has grown. them, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. recently the rules were changed in the game to allow a particular bowler to play who i cant remember the name. this followed after an umpire stopped him from bowling as it was clearly, Not bowling.

another example of thier political power being over used if not abused, was the whole Darryl Hare incident. Sure he made a bad call. He had a bad day. SO WHAT? yet the sub continents political power abuse saw this mans career ended. Completely unnecessary.

the culture of the game has changed dramatically also, in Australia, you go to a match and if someone in the crowd calls out some racial slander, he/she can expect to be escorted from the grounds by security and banned from attending any matches at said venue for ever. as you can see, FAIR ENOUGH! we don't need that. however, in India recently there was an incident where the entire crowd was racially slandering the Australian side. NOTHING was done. Some players on the Indian side also took part in this. but when they go to Australia for a match and slander them in our own grounds, they cause controversy when they are disciplined? again, this shows a level of immaturity i never would have thought possible in an international sport. They know the rules, they know they broke them. there may be some questions as to whether or not these incidents happened, but when they were caught on camera and microphones in the act, they still deny it still? or claim it inst racism? in the manner it was spoken, it was clear in the 'monkey' incident that it wasnt a term of endearment.

what ever happened to 'the sport of gentlemen'?
All that said, Congrats to the Indian team, your skill is commendable. lets just hope your game attitude can reach the same level of commendability, otherwise i have no interest in your team.

Well said Soulless. I couldn't have put it better myself. :-D

Yes well done to India for winning the ODI Cup here in Australia and the Twenty/20 world cup. But is anyone able to challenge Australia in the Test arena?... The only real true form of the game. Those other spins of cricket are just hit and giggle.

yes the other forms arent like test cricket, however they are quite entertaining... :P ive found myself watching 20/20 matches... a lot of on field antics and other things going on that amuse... like ghilchrist running from the stumps to chase a ball to the boundary rope putting in a dive for the audience... then proceeding to laugh his face off with Matt Hayden :P
