i think ascended accounts should have the ability to send priors to those in main.

say 1 prior per week or something in which either the main account submits to worship the ascended account as its god, like the ori in
stargate.

The benefits to ascended account could be worshipping boost. and can act to increase life force or something.

the cost to the main account if they refuse to submit could be a plague wiping out 10% of trained supers per day.

they could have the option to try and over throw prior - if succeed then they aviod losses, if they fair then they get a 20% plague.

also if two ascended accounts send priors to the same main account then the priors do battle and depending on ascended stats the stronger prior wins.

but this gives the main account to drive of both priors as they would be busy fighting each other.

how does this sound ? i always thought it would be cool if you could influence main accounts with your ascended one.

please help fill in blanks and suggest improvements and if you dont like it please be polite about it

Yup, it does sound crazy Since when is that a problem on the internet?
But I'll leave it to smarter people to explain why it doesn't seem a good idea (at least to me it doesn't, but I really couldn't explain why)

Well, I do find it interesting as a Stargate fan... not sure it would work in SGW, though

and if it carries any interest just to stop the big players benefiting,

the smaller you are as an ascended being the more you benefit from worshippers as you have a smaller realm etc.

so 100 worshipers for a small ascended account generates a lot more points then for a larger account

the concept is interesting...

can i take that as support for my idea ??

the idea still needs a lot of work...

like, what accounts could affect what accounts?
what sort of ascended beings would preach to machines? (i.e. replicators)

also, what sort of defense would unascended accounts have against such things?

would the effect be different on base races (asgard, tauri...) and on advanced (ancients, tollan...)?

and, would it at all be possible to code?

well, it wouldn´t fit to sgw since sgw doesn´t really follow the series ... (aka replis + asgards + goaulds gone/ i have never heard of Indu/ajna/tolah)

it wouldnt need follow series blindly... but it could take certain aspects from the series... (and it does that, for example MPDSD... that is from the series, if only as a temporary measure...)

sure ... but still ...

my suggestion would be:

make a button or sumthing that asks an unascended player if he/his army wants to be a follower: if yes, the follower gets some bonuses in main and the ascended being gets bonuses ona scended but loses *income* (or sumthing else) in main ...

if the follower ascends=> everything returns to normal. ..

intereting. i am not too sure on what to suggest to change it

so if anyone has any ideas please feel free to post

i would have to comment on the fact that the main account should not be able to prevent the prior from entering - as lets face it an ascended account is much more powerful.

instead i propose that the main account should have the option to try and overthrow the prior however if unsuccessful say the effect of the plague doubles etc.

the main accounts odds can be increased by another prior trying to convert the same main account in which whilst the 2 priors battle it out the main account has an increased chance to banish both from the realm

this will add a new dimension to the game as it is a new way of making enemies or allies.

clearly if a main account is in an alliance with ascended users then the ascended users would have to protect the main accounts in their alliance thus meaning they would have to send their priors to battle of enemies etc.
