Well the swatiska IS the buddhist symbol for good fortune (90% sure of that), the n@zis actually moved it around a tad to make their symbol, but since it's most commonly seen as a hateful symbol, maybe it's best not to keep it there, you know, not to start wars that can be avoided.

watch Fearless, its carved in the wooden doors in jet li's (forgot the character name) wushu school.

Buddhist symbol, huh? I thought it just more generic sanskrit. still, same area. but yes, the swastika did not start out as a symbol of hate.

Google Earth shows weird things. Try looking at Versailles Palace in France. The Back gardens look like some weird looking face.

the swastika isnt just from buhddist culture, its a symbol of peace and/or power in hundreds of cultures, from all over the world, in many different times.

even the nazi's used the symbol BECAUSE it meant power. and its only because it became world famouse through them that its such a negatively viewed symbol.

however, since the true meaning of the symbol is not negative, it is a very appropriate design for a military structure. Because the military stands for both meanings(maintaining "peace" with "power").
