Paintballing, Karaoke and a Club.
Yep, this one is going to hurt! The ideal opportunity to get back at anyone who ever massed you!

I wanted to make the thread ASAP because a lot of people have to plan for these things.

This event is over 18's due to Paintball laws in Victoria, and clubs and karaoke bars are usually fully licensed and will not let you in unless you are over 18. Sorry guys.

If you are interested in coming or would like more info on anything, please post or PM. I will be updating this thread.

Paintball has been booked for the 1st, and we will need to be there by 11:30am. We have a 2 hour session, 400 paintballs, all the gear and guns and it includes free pizza and wraps as well as the 1st drink at the bar.
Price for this is $90 per head.

Karaoke has been booked at KBox.
It's booked for 7pm to 9pm, so we have 2 hours of embarrassing fun.
Total room cost is $160 for the two hours, which ends up being $10.70 each (depending on attenders).
B.Y.O Food, but no drinks are allowed in as they are fully licensed.

Retro Nightclub is located on Lonsdale Street in the heart of Melbourne, and as its one street away from KBox, we don't need to go far to get there after our singing fest.
Price is $5 and we are all on a guestlist, which means we get priority entry before 10pm, and we get half price entry. Go big groups!

Yeah I want to come to but considering it will be near impossible unless im down there anyway, and i wont be able to do half the stuff its looking very doubtful

However I WILL be at the Brisbane one, in top form

what the hell sunday? i am not flying down to melbourne on a sunday and flying back that night to get up at 6am to go to work. try a saturday, and i'll see what i can do man.

I mean I could look for a hotel room and come down friday night and spend the weekend down there, but this is looking mighty expensive.

Well since Luke (Vegito) payed me out massively for not going to the last one it looks like I will have to come to this one. So I guess you can count me in for this one in December, and I am about 99.98% sure that Luke will come aswell.

*EDIT* oh and I just remembered, Luke and I got duped into buying these paintball VIP cards awhile back, I haven't used mine yet and I'm not sure if Luke has. These tickets get cheaper games for people that we bring along and I have enough for 16 people and if Luke still has his thats another 16 people.

Well anyway thats just another option for you to look at, either way it might be to far for us to travel to and still have time to party it up in Melbourne. But I guess we will have to see.

With any luck and due to the fact that this one is a fair ways down the track, we should be able to rustle up everyone from the previous meet-ups and hopefully some fresh faces. And honestly, who would want to pass up an opportunity to plaster a fellow SGW player in paint?

I expect to see Goodie there too. You can get over and back for $650 with Qantas so odds are you can get it cheaper elsewhere, why not make a week or two visiting the "Cooler" neighbor

If you're interstate Tiger Airlines can get you to Melbourne dirt cheap, $40 from Darwin and you don't even have to flap yourselves. It's never been easier to get to Melbourne folks thanks to discount "quality..." airlines.

Prizes for each event. "Most Lethal" for paintball, another for karaoke. Oddly enough also dubbed "Most Lethal". Perhaps even an official "I Survived the Melbourne SGW Meet" badge to take home. It all depends on numbers so let's see if we can't make this the best one yet.

looks like I'll have to convince my travelling companions that melb to brisbane isn't that far.

As for the Melbourne one, yes I will be there. Goodie if you are not there then you do not live far enough away to save you

hmm xmas down under sounds like so much fun thou. ( goes and suggests, the 28th when everyone doesn't have to work) lol. But overall i can't think i can make, it, not this year, mabye next. ... too bad it's a 24 hour flight.
