just making sure, changing the realm alert level doesnt mean i lose G&R per turn right? thats just does what the nox does?

Yup, that's right. Realm Alert doesn't affect G&R.

def con reduces income and increases covert defence while def con + nox decreases income, increases covert defence, gives you the time delay between attacks and reduces your GnR by 1/turn
