Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

It's Thanksgiving this weekend up here in Canada. I thought I'd make a thread for people to say what they are thankful for, either in real life or SGW.

Just a few friendly reminders: If you have a lot of food please don't through it out. Save it in the fridge for later. If you have a local food bank or soup kitchen please give them a call to see if they need non perishable goods or volunteers to help them out (sorting canned goods, handing out food to those less fortunate, etc.).

Additionally, please remember those who might not have as much as you, be that in your neighbourhood, city, province, country, or elsewhere in the world. I heard a great idea many years ago in that if you have leftovers from eating a a restaurant (McDonalds, Red Lobster, etc.) you could offer the left over food to a homeless person rather than throw it away.

So SGWs/TGWs, what are you thankful for?

Wonderful idea, Spacey!

So's, as I'm up here in Canadia too (*coughs*, I mistyped on PURPOSE. Or I'd have editted it out, instead of adding this), I'm thankful for the giant supper my dad made me yesterday. Even if he invited family I don't like. I'm thankful for them too, cause they remind me why I like my friends.

I'm thankful to FORUM for this game so that I can meet these people.......

And I'm thankful for all the players who helped me get to where I was before I quit. And even to the ones that held me back.

Happy TG all you mad Canoodhians!

I would like to participate in this too. I'm thankful that I'm Australian. Not jingoism, I just love my country with a passion. I'm thankful for my blessed beautiful wrecking balls of children, and for the 2 men that I love. And for all the friends I have here in SGW. I'm glad I have health and am above the poverty line - most weeks!
