Gotta say I WAS interested in this even went to the forums to sign up. Read the objectives and then went and read the rules. Thats were i decided with all the cursing that this was just a big waste of time. You want to reform something you cant throw around the f word and other curse words. Clean up your own act before trying to clean up mine.

Im out.

Profanity is a non-issue, attitudes need to be cleaned before mouths would ever be a concern.

Profanity not a concern? Really ? Im from the old school I guess but a mans word is his bond. You can be blunt and to the point but in the right manner. If you think you can talk about reform for the forums it all boils down to respect of each other. POINT BLANK. If your going to curse thats a lack of respect in my mind. Speak to me like you want to be spoken to and thats how you reform a forum.

You wann know what I think is funny that you delete that post I was talking about and post a knew one saying cursing isn't a concern but then you post something about the exact same thing I posted. Here is what you wrote on you forums.

your quote

Indeed. All I see when I go to the forum is threats and discourtesy.

If you want to be an butt, fine, be an butt, but at least be polite as you do it. I am proof enough that one can piss people off without resorting to vulgarity and flaming

There is nothing wrong with the majority of the "profane" words used other than the social stigma attached to them.

One of the rulings going into effect is to be polite, to that effect, using "sh*t" descriptively is acceptable, calling someone a "**Filtered**" is not.

Censorship is not generally needed for a group of intelligent individuals.

This I do agree with, but you know exactly what I was talking about because you felt the need to change it.

I do agree what was posted was inappropriate, thus, it was removed. Would you rather I left tasteless material as is?

Just a general reminder. When signing up for any site, you should always use a different, secure password. Never use your SGW password on ANY bulletin board, as passwords can be compromised.

Thank you for that.

I would like to suggest you all use a different email address as well.

No I would not like you to leave it. But you are the one to say cursing is not a concern. Why change it? Are you now conceding that cursing to get a point across is not needed and it shows a certain respect to think about what a response should be.

Respect is the key. People are the doors. All keys are different but to open each door there is always the right key.

I will put it bluntly. The general perceptions of this community are **Filtered** up.

This game should be more than threats, while violence is at times necessary, more often than not, you can achieve better results through a civil, diplomatic discussion.
