Planetary Gifts

Sent one of my planets off one time ago, called it Gift from Mystake
Today I used one of my beacons that were on it.
Sent the chap a PM asking him why he never thanked me for it
Beaconed a few others, found one in FAHQ Too, the other in 359Company.
One of them had a mate's name in it lol, the other was called Midgar (hopefully in reference to FF7)
Anyone else sent off their planets only to beacon them up later to find out who has em and send em PM's?

ive done that... granted it was only a week after i abandoned it but it was still funny when the guy thought i was trying to convince him to "give" it back to me

Yeah i did it once, abandonded a 30bil covert planet, never got a message till i messaged the guy, turned out was a member of my old alliance, so happy it was of some use to an aquatence.

I usually title my A gift from JediMasterX or something. Sometimes I get thank yous. I shold mass peeps when I find them with them and who don't say thanks.

Last time I abandoned a planet I named it "Turkey was here". The next turn change my alliance mate, Lord Master, mothership found the planet

When I steal planets I put a few beacons on them before I abandon them, so I can steal them again.

I've always wanted to beef up a planet, add a beacon and abandon it. Only months later to track it down and see what its been up to.
however my new account is still noobish (curse me for deleting my old one *_*) and affordability is a issue at the moment.
its funny that people automatically reverty to defensive mode when you contact them in regards to your old planet. The galaxy truely is ruled with fear.
