new pepole r having a hard time getting started. i think we should give them more pepole to start with or a longer beginning PPT

I would say if you increase the amount of UU new people get they would have to be put into lifers so people can't abuse it and create new accounts just to be raided.

As Zeratul said, it was suggested before and a few people had a long discussion on how to get the balance of extra resources just right, but the topic died when no one thought it would get implemented anyway. Although i think something should be done, as the game grows quicker paced the smaller ones find it harder to keep up, increasing the resources they get at the beginning may just help them get to a stage where they have a better chance of:
1) Catching up with mid-ranked players
2) staying interested in the game...

I personally think a starting think of perhaps 50b naq and 1 mil lifers wouldn't be too bad... a ppt isnt too useful without uu to make naq for yourself.

I just recently started a new account after a lengthy time since selling my previous account.
I didn't have too much trouble rebuilding, but i did know how the game worked so i could raid and such.
I would suggest that a new account just needs more turns, as that is the only thing that sucked when i started. I just bought US$10 worth of turns, and then i could raid for units, and get some money cracking.
If any new player would like some help getting up to scratch, i am more than happy to point them to a few defenceless/inactive uu/naq farms that could be helpful. I will add, i am not an expert player, but i know enough to get your account to a few mil population and information on ascension.

I agree that maybe we should increase the resource to start out with, but I think something like that would be way to much. I know people who are actively playing and their army size is only around there. I think something smaller like 50-100k lifers might be better. It would give them a nice jumpstart compared to what they get now, and I don't think it would be too unfair to the small-medium sized players. Or like above, the extra turns would prolly be the best help for a new account, but only if it wouldn't be abused by multis.

If I bring new players into the game I allways need to give them some basic stuff to get them started and LOTS of advices. I dont see how anyone that hasnt been playing this game before could start it now unless if he knows someone that is allready good at it. I dont think there is anything exploit proof that could be done tho. But would be nice.

I would also suggest if forum were to Up the amount of naq someone receives to make it a special kind of naq which can't be stolen that way people won't just create new accounts to steal the free naq they get.
All the naq their miners make would be able to be stolen just not the start up naq.
