When it comes to ascension, is it best to just ascend all the way to Living God, or can you still be a reasonably formidable opponent at the first few ascended levels (Prior or the next one)

I am aware to be truly worthy in any war you need a strong production to recover from attack, but i was just curious as to whether wars are fought and one before you reach the ascended rank of Living God.

Well production UP is usually really boosted at LG and above, and planets have been building up since you started so by the time you get to LG they should be quite decent.

But production income which perhaps helps more at time of war depends really on your army size (sure you get a small bonus for ascending to income) but there's people out there with 75mil + accounts that arn't LGs.

im thinking: I just don't want to spend to long getting to living god, want to get my teeth stuck into a war or something before i go all the way... I'll never learn how to fight if i don't get experience

but on the same hand i dont want to get pwned back to the stone age and have to start from scratch.

I was thinking of ascending once or twice before building up my income and production for a bit of fighting experience and a few wars under my belt - i want to get to living god, just wasn't sure how long it would likely take to ascend 5 times, as i only ascended once on my old account and that took a while

i gets easier the bigger you are, so your first ascention is hardest, since you started with nothing and perhaps only have a couple of mill army size.

you could try and ask someone around your level to war with, e.g. get to Messiah and have a play war with another Messiah

but you're right the best way to learn is to do.

aye, would be nice to start a newb-trainer alliance and you get paired up with sparing partners, kind of like Sparta;

I'd ascend to prior asap... you get extra weapons and your ascended account also gets a start... from there you can work yourself up a bit , I'd recomend ascending to lg+1 at some point as well, huge advantage stats and resource wise.

most people who claim to be AG's or even on a lesser level LGs have relatively crap ascended account because they rushed ascensions for main bonuses
Its not the amount of ascensions but the quality of each ascension. One great ascension e.g. 150k raw is better by far than 6 minimum cost UP's ascensions
Especially with the cost of upgrades now. So do yourself a favour, sacrafice main playing do as big a raw UP ascension as possible and enjoy a fast growing account. Its much easier than before

also raiding gets u used to massing since u have to click tge attack button so many time

i'd say its best to get to prophet first, because then at least u get blessings. build ur main army up as much as possible, and then do ur ascentions.

the bonuses dont really make a massive difference tbh ..... i can happily war with any LG account even tho i am 3 ascentions (15%) behind them in bonuses.

just a quick noob question...

if i build up my Raw UP to 150k, and then ascend... doesnt it get knocked back to 0?? If this is the case, could someone point out the advantage of having a UP of 150k for ascension?

Im guessing the Ascension Power Points affects your ascended account?

When i first ascended with my original account i never really worked out the APP system, i knew i had to reach a certain amount to ascend, but i wasn't sure what other benefits it gives - cause i had a lot of "surplus" APP over the required amount i needed to ascend... anyone at liberty to throw a little tasty information in regards to having a lot of APP can do for you?

a LOT of APP means when you ascend, you can convert this into a LOT of Life Force. this means that you can buy higher levels and increase ur power on ascended.....

e.g. you increase charisma to a high level, so that your cosmic expansion rate (UP) will be large, because the more planets you have ....... the better ur account will be (if u use them right that is)

Ah okay, i am not to familiar to the changes that have been implemented to the ascended server.

When i was last playing, main server and ascended weren't really connected. Are there differences now? If my ascended server has better income and what not, would it give my normal account bonuses?

Sorry if these questions are noobish or whatever, just want to gather as much info as i can so i am better informed on whatever decision i end up making. Thankyou to those offering help

the onyl way there are connected is the APP and descension ...

it depends on whether you´d like to play ascension serve ror not, but for you as a prior i would play it, cuz with the new updates you cna get a load of lifer force and build up a decent accoutn on ascended server .. so you might enjoy it
