Question about Ascending

I'm not sure if this is part of the new update but when I ascended (2 weeks ago I think) I did not receive the free name change that I always got when ascending!
Due to someone taking my name on ascended I could not ascend with my main name "Biscuit".
due to that I wasted 3MTs before ascending changing my name and now I don't even have a free name change to change it back..
Is lack of a free name change now part of the updates or is something wrong in the game?

I think you don't get free name changes, but free race changes... this would also explain why I have:
Change Player Name (1) / Chat Nick
Change Race(12)

you only get name changes from USS and seeing as you get FSS from ascending you shouldnt get a name changce from ascending

That happened to me last time I ascended, Jason told me to email support@ and tell them, I had 2 name changes added to my account within 12 hours.
(Admin Sue rocks!)

This never used to be a problem, it used to link ID's not names, so it shouldnt matter, if admin really intends for it to be this way, then he needs to take away the option of changing your name on ascended, so no one else can take your main name there, and mess up ascending.
