Tendering my Resignation.

To that it may concern,
I wish i could say it was with deep regret that i hand you my resignation as a servant of this community however i would be a liar because whilst it has taken some serious thought to come to this decision it is not one which i will regret.
There are a number of reasons i have reached this conclusion, some private and some of you that know me will know some public. The Forums are in a state of disarray, they are hate-filled and the mood is counter productive to both those trying to achieve something and those trying to learn something. I look at these forums now and look back at what they were when i started as a Mod and i am ashamed at the state they have become.
How many people have quit modding or the forums over issues arising of late?
If you were new to the game and the forums, is this a place you would truely frequent?
Would you let your own children behave in a manner displayed by some users of this forum?
As i have stated i have private reasons also which i will not go into, but i can assure you that these reasons are more important to me than having to come to this community and sift through the excrement i read on a daily basis.
I thank you for the faith that some of you have shown in me and for the opportunity to serve what was once a fine community but every man has a limit and sadly my limit has been somewhat surpassed.
I hope someone looks after my markets well for they need constant care and attention.
And for those who doubted my commitment and doubt my reasons for leaving, i shall impart this upon you as an example of one of a great list of sacrifices i have made for this team and this forum...
I am Lord Neqa'el, when i took up modship i was one of the most used Signature makers on these forums, i had a reputation as one of the best, if not THE best. In the interests of keeping my impartiality and creating a fair and equal market i gave up my reputation and my thriving signature buisness, apart from maybe 4-5 signatures i made bored one night which i sold for minimal amounts of resources. I did this because i thought it unfair of a moderator to profit from the very forums he moderates and because i thought it unfair for members of the community to compete with an establish reputation which modship can potentially bring.
I cared about the job and i cared about the community i was serving and i gave up what made me part of this community to serve. I could list more sacrifices however that is not the point of this thread.
Please accept my resignation with immediate effect and remove my permissions. Once this is done i would like as one final act of generosity that this thread be moved to general so that those who may still remember me as a mod and a sig maker can have the option of posting if they wish.
This will be my final post as a Moderator and indeed a Global Moderator.
I hope one day to visit these forums and see a better place to enjoy spending my time, however this i fear is a long way off.
