The only way to increase you per turn income is the have more untrained units. To get more of those you need to increase your unit production.

More untrained troops (not including mercs). Get more by:
more recruitment clicks (from the bottom of your Command Center) - up to 50 a day.
increasing your Unit Production (from the Training page).
Each untrained troop gives you a base of 40 naq a turn (not including the 25% bonus for Goa'uld, or the 10% no-commander bonus).
You can also get an income boost by finding a commander (you get a share of 10-30% of their naq, split between all his officers) - try the Recruitment Center on the forums.

Or, if no commander will take j00, make urself ur commander, you will get a 10% income increase..as well as 10% UP increase

For no commander you get 10% in both UP and income. Yourself as commander gets you 20% UP bonus.
An idea (may be painful, but beneficial nonetheless) for when you can't find the answer to your question in the Help or FAQ section, have a trawl through the Game Updates page. It may take a while but is an interesting step back in time, and will most likely have the answer to your questions.
