Okay, dammit, not funny anymore...

Alright, so I'm minding my business today, log in to my university email to find a Conduct Referral email from the assosciate dean that I've "broken Housing agreements" and "provided false information of an incident on 10/10/2007"...
For background, here's what happened. There's four of us in a room, 2 in each bedroom. One of my suitemates was asleep in his bed, and this guy named Warren comes from next door and squirts him in the ear with some shaving cream. Okay, no big deal until one of the Residence advisers walks by and sees him, and thinks something is wrong. She asks all 5 of us that were sitting in there in the room, and one or two of the numbnuts tells her that he's drunk, even though we all know he's fine and just a heavy sleeper.
So she takes them serious and goes and gets the RC, the head of the residence hall. He comes in all pissy and gets my suitemate up to make sure he's not drunk and figure out what is in his ear. So by this time I'm pissed off at this being nothing, and I told them that it was shaving cream and that Warren did it to him, not us.
So what do you think happens? They take everyone's name and ID that was in the room at that time, even though we've done nothing (I'd just been sitting there doing homework on my computer). "Guys, we're just taking these down for future reference, we have to document everything that happens now because of your tire iron fight." Okay, so we think everything's fine. Fast forward a week later to now, and I and the rest of the guys in there now have to set up an appointment with Housing to fix this horse***t even though we did nothing and hope they don't give us a damn ticket for anything.
Needless to say, I'm shaking in anger and thinking of going next door to visit Warren. Sure, I'll take the blame if I did something, hell, I'll tell you I did it, but don't blame me for something I didn't do...

meh...life sucks man. Either go and MAKE warren explain, or take it. We all know educational systems never are on the ball. I mean here at my uni, they say attendance is optional, I dont like going to 9am lectures because I think its a stupid time to begin the day, 10am is a far better time, but I and 213 others of the lecture (213/285 lol) Decided to miss it, and well they sent an email round threatening to set up personal one on one meetings and send letters home grating at our parents. It's just another example of hypocrisy... (does anyone know how to change the language setting to UK English on this dam firefox? cos it telling me every time I spell a word right, thats its wrong, cos the americans spell it the wrong way, its annoying me greatly...)

Sucks man, there's nothing worse than having fools turn something as minor as a harmless prank into a massive fiasco like that. I agree with shauny on 2 points : 1st you should go find Warren and make him explain it, 2nd I want UK english too cause I'm sick of being told I'm spelling stuff wrong when it's right !!!!
Just one question AA whats this previous tire iron fight you say you were involved in??

In short, a kid snapped, came after my roommate with a tire iron, I put him to sleep, he's now out of the college.

right click the incorrect word and go "Language > English/united kingdom", if thats not there go "Add dictionary"
you might have to restart firefox after installing the english(british) dictionary, then do the "Language > English/united kingdom"
If you want it off altogether go Tools > Options, under the "advanced" tab, uncheck "Check my spelling as i type"

any problems pm me

Excuse me? We just took out some extraneous letters, like the "u" in favour and colour. What's up with that anyway? As for English being the one true noble and great language, I think that something I once saw on a t-shirt sums it up perfectly: "English doesn't borrow from other languages; it follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over the head, and goes through their pockets for loose change."

in the most nobler way possible. Still better then silly americans, kiwi's and other corrupting English, at least we won our language in some form of fight..you just knock a few letters out, emphasizing the laziness in your cultures, cos you had the British empire holding your hands whilst you grew up.
ouch.... lol. Im kidding man, my original comment was, racist in view, but I really dont mean anything by it. Im British, proud of the language we have (most languages have been thieved in some way) and well, I actually dont like the corrupt versions. (that bit wasnt a joke..)
and besides, queen's english is the only remaining true and noble language..the originals were Latin and ancient greek, though both are still spoken, they are not the same, nor used as often.

im australian, with a british background... please dont claim your language is superior, its your choice to use yours, ours to use ours.
AA, I hope it all goes well... well as well as it can go... this warren guy sounds a real... *insert naughty word here*
in my experience, just be straight with them in the meeeting, and since there was a few of you around to see what happened, you should be fine.
alibis and witnesses FTW!
