More Attack questions :)

Got a couple more questions...

1) When attacking god to god, the max you can do is 1/3rd. Does those cap also apply to the dmg bounce back? Basically a safety or you can descend yourself with one hit.

2)The 4 hour wait, do you have to wait 4 hours after they hit you or can you time it well and hit them after they just hit you, increasing the chance of descending as they have just taken a hit from the bounce back damage.

3)Do you have to go through all the life force to descend (Main/Reserve/Cache) or just the main?

4)Just hypothetical in this question...if a person had 2Mil LF max and a recharge rate on it of 500K per turn, wouldn't it be almost impossible descend that person as they grow the damage back before you can hit again?

5)Last question. (for now, lol) Can you be attacked by other alliance mates of your enemy or is the 4 hour a safety on your account from all other attacks aswell, if this is so, I suspect you can't attack one enemy god to god and then attack other enemy god to god correct?

1. I don't know, but I will hazard a guess and say that is correct. I THINK that is the case, but I may be wrong.

2. Four hour wait, sorry.

3. Main and reserve - yes. Cache - Unsure.

4. Yes, they would be invulnerable to deascension. But that would require a top account to get that anyway, so they probably would be invulnerable anyway.

5. Four hour applies to everyone. The battle apparently lasts for four hours.

1.) Yes you can descend yourself with one hit because the damage that they reflect back on you is not limited by the damage cap. They bounce back the full damage that you could do to them, not the actual damage that they take.

2.) No, once you are engaged, either offensively or defensively, neither of you can attack (or be attacked) for another four hours.

3.) You just have to go through Main and Reserves. LF Cache does not count towards that, as far as I know.

4.) And therein lies the problem. LF is SUPPOSED to be the most important stat in the game (jason's opinion). Yet Jason has done everything he can with these updates to nerf the significance of LF in the game. For descension purposes, it is better to have as little LF as possible and have enough ranks in channeling and flow so that you can get your LF back in four hours so that they cannot descend you again. That is why the damage caps are bad. If the damage is based on your stats, not theirs, then it would be infinitely fairer. But Jason isn't about fairness.

5.) The four hour rule applies to everyone.

Yes I agree, it will be impossible to descend some players if they leave their max low and a high recharge rate...

Then whats the point in having descension in the first place?

Another method, with raiding gone, anyone can simply have a bunch of miners, then every turn, dump a bunch of dmu into lifeforce.

or

Simply have Dmu and planets to build an easy defense every turn. Doesn't take much to stop an ascended attack, with turns so few, massing a new defense every 4hrs and ascended attacks taking 99 turns....well your smart enough to see where I'm going with this.


In fact Life force is useless now, because you can only use your cache for power ups. Energy Channeling is the gate way to becoming a more powerful being, because only it produces the life force you can use in upgrades. Whats up with not being able to use the your main Ascended Life Force anymore?

Well they changed it in ascended but left the old one in the "game updates" :

4) upgrades can be bought with cache & life force (not reserves) - with cache used first. LF only used if you are 'short' in your cache.

Which Isn`t true anymore... And this is from the latest updates.

if you attack and the bounce back is higher than your LF (and you have no LF reserves) your LF will go to "1" you can never be deascended by attacking.... unless its changed since the 18th october... cause i attacked the wrong person and it sorta... hit me with more life force and it went to 1... :)

agreed i was hitting a guy 3 days straight every 4 hrs that i was up and i was hitting the cap everytime but his max LF was like 200k so by the time the 4 hrs were up both his LF and reserves had filled back up, Eventually i gave up because i ran out of turns sitting on him so he couldnt use DMU to restore the LF! I think the cap should be removed since there is after all a rank mod in play!
