Suggestive Disorder & the þ character disapproval thread

Is anybody else sick to death of that stupid, irritating þ character?
It makes my blood boil every time I see Suggestive Disorder use it!
"Why Wolf?" you ask....
Well, the reason is simple - what is the point of it?
Suggestive Disorder will probable tell you, as he/she has told me, that it is to add some personality to that particular Mod account and that there is no harm in it (which begs the question as to why they were made anonymous).
Well, I put it to the rest of the community that it actually makes a mockery of the Mod team and potentially makes the forum more difficult to use for some people.
This forum is an English based forum and, as we all know, not everybody here has English for their first language. Although most of these people get by more than adequately, there are a few who struggle with their command of the English language - now this is not a criticsm, simply a fact - just as I would massively struggle with Slovenian or Russian (or anything other than English and basic French!).
So, what does our illustrious Suggestive Disorder do? Introduces this antiquated þ character just to potentially confuse them more, not to mention those people who may suffer from any form of specific learning difficulty (of which dyslexia is but one of many) (and I'm a training expert so I know what I'm talking about here)! This is not appropriate behaviour by a Mod, whose job is to ensure the forums are safe and as easy to use as possible.
Well I've got news for Suggestive Disorder - as a Mod, the Forum is not your personal playground in which to make a mockery of the Mod team - you are here to service and protect the forum members, and that includes making your posts as easy to understand as possible.
If you desperately want a place where you can talk 'gobble-di-gook' then I suggest you petition the Admins for a specific board where you can talk antiquated English/code/crap to your hearts content - just keep it out of the rest of the forum.
