Is it me or are the price of at's on the BM just growing way too fast ?
I mean look at this week , i take you back to monday , it was a sunny day outside the birds were chirping and i was looking for anyone selling at's .
The average price was 46 bill per k , and i was happy(ish) , now i return you to today , its cold aned damp outside and the current average -50 bill per k (some may say 49 but 50 is more dramatic )

thats a rise of 4 bill in 2/3 days , madness !!!!!!!
This is disturbing to say the least and i feel something should be done about it , what i hear you ask ? Well its simple , everyone sells their at's to me for 25 bill per k

but seriously what can we do , its getting to the stage now where i am not looking for at's so much as i hate to see the new jump in prices
Come on ppl we need to sort this out and kill the greedy hoarders who are killing my back pocket

Simple as that:
Mass all those who buy turns at higher prices than the sellers.
There are plenty of ATs and sellers, but some buyers are too greedy and raise the prices so that they can reserve all the ATs.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again....
Supply and Demand!
The only people who can stop the increased price in ATs are the buyers themselves by refusing to pay the prices offered.
But as long as the sellers have someone willing to pay their price then there is absolutely NOTHING that can be done about it.

So mass the people buying at those high rates.

But that will use up even more ATs and further decrease the supply.

bring it on....i don't care what u or ur neightboor or ur school mate thinks..i'll buy at prices I WANT. and go ahead, try to mass all those who buy at high prices....like wolf said..supply and demand..
Why the hell should I not buy at's and just stay small? Although it is painfull to give away more and more naq for those damn at's...still...we need em a lot...and now that cap will raise..it will be even worse...well....big players might just buy a lot of UU,have them delivered when they are over buying cap to someone else, then raid their friends for those uu using only few at's...
all say yeh,it will go up badly..well i say...UU price will jump like hell,at's price won't be so much bigger...mt's...same...regular increasing..like now..and if ur smart..u can easly get at's for 43-44b/1k...u just need to find/know sellers..that's all...but like i said..i buy for 50b/1k too...what will you do?

it would help if there would be a limit for a trade broker. lets say 3 times a week.

if they were trading directly, than there would be more scamming and alot of people wouldnt traded with someone they dont know.

No, folks would just trade like they did before broker, directly.
Better to just reduce the AT avalible overall (A limited ammount on the market per week) and let supply and demand naturaly work out from there.
that was in the past..and ppl used all at's..and those who had at's still could get **Filtered** load for them...so it's a bad idea.

lol..if you think prices are bad right now, just wait a month...
My guess:
AT prices will shoot up
UU prices will jump a lot.
Raid farm quality will sink.

Only way that'll happen is if more ATs are bought, which means current buyers buy more or more people buy.
It would be intersting, if while in an alliance you could only broker within your alliance, and those not in an alliance could broker anyone else.
It would certainly make things more interstign, if only due to 'he stole naq I was sent for a MT trade' threads.
then we can easly say that alliances with big members, big traders will grow like hell, smaller ones will be left behing...imo..and imo at prices won't jump as much as UU prices

How hard of a concept is Supply and Demand to grasp? Threads just like this one pop up every week.

Not totally up to speed with how things work in-game - but I see there are 36 million + ATs on the in-game market - how does this number change? Are they still artificially added on a weekly/daily basis? If so, then that is the sure fire way to solve the problem - stop artificially producing them (or any other resource on the market).
Yes, yes, I know I've said all of this before (as has Tok'ra and many others) - but it is truly the only way. That way everyone has a more limited supply. You might think that this may push prices up - well it might - but the plus side being that lower ranked members will then be able to sell the AT for higher prices to the higher ranked warmongers/massers/raiders. And at least then it would be a true value of the AT - and not just an inflated price a seller thinks they can get away with.
And believe me - the game was better before the mass introduction of AT!
(And yes, I've said that before too!)
