If you don't know what crysis is, you don't even deserve to be on a PC.

Hence the endless search for a machine that can render that full power without going supernova.

A single 8800gtx can run it fine on max, the drivers just aren't optimized yet, SLI doesn't even work for all cards hehe.

Performance of games from newly released to 3months in goes up from 40 - 70% on average.

I've just found a test you can do to see if you can run it.

EA don't have anything to do with it, its completely made by the game designers even though EA are publishing it, its story will be extremly long and has been in the works for 2years+.

The ultra high setttings arent unlocked yet unfortunatly.

Meh... all I can say is meh.

I run Linux on all my systems, and anything that doesn't run on Linux is meh. If they announced Linux support I'd probably be interrested... maybe even go out and buy it... but meh. I'll stick with Nexuiz and others... Not that I'm much of a gamer anyway ;P

Um... I had a point in there somewhere. This was supposed to be a satirical post. I'm terrible at satire -_- But yeah...

Though in the near future I see commercial gaming coming to Linux. It's already happening... Linux is growing to contend with Microsoft... vendors have no choice but to recognize it and support it :D So by the time I build Master, the desktop cluster I've been planning, I'll be able to show off its rendering power with HQ screenshots of various such games ^_^ Until then, meh...
