Farming is unprofitable

Farming has become unprofitable.

The losses are way too great. I admit I may not be the best at farming, but when you hit someone your losses are stupid high, and everyone's got bigger defences now.
Sure, I can build a bigger defense, but then I theres no profit to be made. And then the caps get increased and people say well get back to raiding, sure, but with what AT and what naq? Naq buys AT and UU.

I live solely off my own income.

Your strike isn't big enough then. Farm for arrround 100bill then it would be.

I've scanned and I havn't been able to turn a profit.

What could I be doing wrong? 130b strike not enough? Never've farmed before until lately but I'm just finding it hard too profit.

It can be done... but everything is set up against it being profitable. The losses are quite high, I have no idea why they were increased recently...
You've really got to be hitting for decent amounts, I'd say once you start getting over 10b per hit you can start making a profit. Another problem is people get grumpy, they don't build a bigger defence, they just go off gung ho and destroy your stuff. Only gotta look at dd etc, a lot of them have way more naq out than they can hold.

As long as you look with your eyes and not with your weapons when it comes to alliances like DD your safe. But dont try and make out DD are the only alliance like this, because of your grudge against them. There are other examples of alliances out there that actually try to invite you to farm them, in small exchange for never having a good account again

i dont farm at the moment. it is very costly. i farmed in the build up to my ascension because i had supers needing killing and i needed the naq more than uu, but currently im sitting back on my income planning my next move with this new update out

my raiding troops have gotten a bit on the tubby side and seem hardly interested in getting off their a$$es to raid.

Farming isn't profitable because of some of the updates that have happened in the past - peoples accounts grow too quickly, making other aspects of the game dead.

This all happenend because people wanted things more quickly and more easily - some people said it would harm the game, but nobody listened.

130 bil strike is way too small.

And farming is profitable. Im ake about 1 tril naq+ per weekend in farming. SOmetimes 2 tril.

Farming is still profitable. Just made 600bil in 2 hits this evening. Likely I am about to die, but the point stands  That said, I have noticed that losses have been increasing. In one hit I lost 419,889 soldiers, granted alot of those were mercs and it was off an ascended blessing, but it seems to represent a trend in a general increase in losses. With the raiding cap removed, it's likely to become even less worth-while. Hopefully it can be fixed.
