As there are a lot more threads and posts popping up that 'rub people the wrong way' I wanted to make this thread to remind people about one joy with this version of phpBB 3.0.

I'm talking about the Friend & Foe list. You should see it here. If for some reason you aren't taken to what I'm talking about then:

• click on "User Control Panel"
• click on "Friends & Foes" on the left sidebar
• click on "Manage Foes"

From here you can add the name of people that irk you, and you don't really have any care to read what they write. It says,

Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

and for friends it says

Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted.

It might be better for you to add names to the foe list rather than argue with someone because of your history, etc. It would probably keep your blood pressure down, and keep some thread on topic while reducing friction between players.

I post this for everyone to use. I'm sure that there are some who used it on me . It's not meant to be against one or a few people but for everyone to use to help reduce their own blood pressure!
