hey err i feel stupid i made a big mistake with my ascension, i thought MineSlave and lifers were the same.. so yeh i ascended and lost all my mineslaves, all 6mill of them and im pretty freakn sad. Is there anyone i can pm that can help me rememdy this pls?

owch mate that bites a bit. i dont think admin would return anyof your miners it is hard but just keep moving on mate. ascending was originaly ment for you to lost everything and only start with the bonuses but you get around that by transferring with a good friend im sorry you had to learn the hard way i lost alot of UU ascending doing kinda the same thing.

As mentioned, that really bites, but there's nothing you can do about it now. Simply suck it up and keep going, and remember your lesson for next time.

Precisely why I was asking the other day if I'm better off untraining/retraining my miners a bunch of times to turn them into lifers or doing something else with them. Ascention buddy seemed to be the most favoured answer.

Next time, find an ascention buddy. GL rebuilding!

Thats something that was actually smart to do in the begining, if you were really small, because you wouldn't be able to send the UU to a friend, untill you get the supporter. Plus, ages ago lifers gave 2x the income miners did (or something).

Anyway, its not worth it any more, just get someone too look after the UU for you.

Yeah, about that. I'm a tad confused. Someone suggested setting up a trade - 5m uu for 5m uu or whatever, THEN ascending.

The part I'm confused about is how this works. I'm assuming "pending" trades tie up the uu so they're not taken with you when you ascend (does that also protect them from being raided??), then you can just cancel (or complete, since it's 1 for 1) the trade after you ascend.

But you know what they say about assumption... I'd hate to be wrong and end up in the same boat as this poor guy...

The UU is not taken when you ascend - it's not on you any more, it's at the broker, so to say. You can broker the UU to the other player, ascend, have him/her reject the broker and collect the UU. Trust me, I've ascended several times and helped several others ascend

Unless admin changed it overnight without letting anyone know, in which case you might want to have it confirmed by someone who just ascended
