Is there something going on that I don't know about??
UM's have been in *very* short supply on the market there's hardly ever any there and half the time they're gone before you can buy the damn things...
Sure seem to be in high demand for something most people think are "useless"...

They give you ascension points when you ascend. They count for mercs, and there is no limit to them. The reason people want them, is that they give more APP than the equivalent amount of naq.

Yeah, I'm aware of that... why do you think *I* want them?
I just didn't realise they'd be so much in demand, these days more often than not there's zero... sometimes when they appear, by the time you get money out the bank they're gone. They seem to be a lot faster moving than I'd anticipated...
Oh well... time to hit refresh on the merc screen for a while longer...

need to have your naq out and ready on the refresh that is for sure.
And a couple of hundred million of them can sure turn a good ascention into a very good one.

the access to them is easier on some parts of the day than on others... (not sure when though...)

Hmm...
Naq to APP = 1 to 6,000,000
Naq for 100m UM = 150B
APP for 150B = 25,000
APP for 100m UM = 20,833 (Since UM are half of the 2,400 for trained Mercs)
The only use for them is that UM can't be taken off you. Naq can.
