Well I vanished (again) for a while... thing is I destroyed my hard drive :P quite stupid really... wiped the wrong drive... was aiming at the other one -_-

Now I'm on openSuSe Linux... and I like what I see. Of course the artwork immediately flew out the window :P I have a nice system set up with a shiny evil theme, Compiz Fusion... Videos and screenshots will come soon :D

Now in case you've all been wondering what I've been up to... Learning C++ and Qt 4. Qt is a really nice cross-platform GUI toolkit...

Also I've picked up Crystal Space development again... reading about CEL this time too. Working on a little 3D game project... multiplayer FPS at first... we'll see where it goes...

Yeah, aside form that not much is happening. I hate everything, I've gone completely Nihilist (What's the point of anything? We're all just gonna die anyway...) and ...that's about all. Thanks you! :P

Oh right, I made a guitar pickup out of cardboard ant toothpicks and a magnet. And Ethernet wire. It seems to work... but the strings of my acoustic guitar are not steel, and thusly the pickup isn't actuated by them. I tried taping little nails to them, but their mass slowed down the vibrations too much... next thing to try is taping little pieces of staples to them. I'll keep you updated! :P

Until then, I am yours, though not really... The insane Linux russian that is

EDIT: Oh wait we can attach files now. :P

Looks shiny tho.

Don't matter... games will come though. Linux is growing in power quite quickly and the vendors are beginning to recognize and release their software for Linux as well...

Photoshop... pfft... all I need is GIMP/Inkscape and Blender :P

Um... it has just about everything else I could possibly want to use... and yes I do occasionally play games on it :P Not good enough for insane gamer addict peoples, but that'll change... soon...

Almost any game that will run under a windows OS can be fiddled with by a knowledgeable user to run under Linux environs too, and now that more ppl are exploring the Linux kernel and what its capable of as well as experimenting with the help of faqs off the net & friends who know more than them we can expect to see more games running under Linux as well proper support for dx10.

In fact I'd be surprised if the kind of ppl who wrote WINE are currently working on another to include the updates of XP&Vista into a another windows EMU for *nix O/S's making it even easier
