Dont people play games for fun?

why on nearly half of my contacts (btw I have over 1000 people on 1 of my addies from SGW's) its people saying

'Selling naq for *$'s per trill'
'Selling uu for *$'s per mill uu'
'Selling DMU for *$'s per trill'


NO WONDER THE GAME IS DRYING UP, YOU LOT ARE DOING IT.

why not play the game how its ment to be played. Not playing it to make money, thats what a job is for.

ummm but havnt u sold stuff too or even tried?

I thought of doing "biz" since I can buy on internet but it's too risky considering it's an online game and can close for any reason so no money invested, for now!

If unlimited ATs weren't on game market anymore that would not be so easy to play for cash and not for fun heh!

I've sold abit here or there to buy USS on another game but thats not the point, I put it into another game to have fun.

Well, I sold a lot of DMU for $$ recently.. but that's only because I wanted to reinvest the money in UU. I'm not using this game to put me through college or anything.

I tend to agree with you dean, however, I've made close on $7500 off this game so maybe I am to blame too?

Now I have a job I do not sell anymore but I once did because I had to.

Ive always been really anti buying and selling in this game and any game for that matter.

Ive never bought anything for Money and ive never sold anything for money.

I think its spoils what little we have left.

Any man and his Dog can now buy an account.

THis game shouldnt be based on how big your pocket is. Its skill, friends, allies, your head and power that makes you what you are.

and it was only for ss or watever in other games cos i dont have paypal and they just bought it for me

That said: my philosophy concerning money trades is a bit looser than that of those fervently against it. I believe that it's ok to make a bit of money if you put it back in the game. Or buy a sword.



That said, I hate it when people treat this game as anything other than a game. People calling their time playing this game their "SGW career" (WTH?!) and others are living off their sales of resources, which is just ridiculous. Meh.

I once wondered if my first job wouldn't be sgw player, but I realized it was more risked than real life, considering trades over the internet with people not always fair and sometimes hustlers. That would be fun to see how much you'll have at end of month by seeing how much naq you sold loool
What is even more funny (and evil and nasty etc...) would be to mass people doing profit off the game just to laugh off their 'new' situation !

the same guy ask me everyday if i want to buy sgw stuff for cash
