Id just like to wish everyone a happy hoilday, as it is now Novemeber the 5th. An important day in the history of the UK, could have been alot more important if the events that unravelled took place how Fawkes wanted them to.
Id just also like to say I hope you all remeber what an important day this was and dont let recent films cloud the epic real life issues that were at hand.

Grow up BW, opinions are opinions, weigh them on their own merit not on your opinion of the one presenting it.
No matter how strongly you have an opion on something you are still influenced on the other people who share that same intrest or passion. So I can hardly weight it purly on my own merit as everyone takes abit of everyone elses opinion to form there own.
And if anything it was a compliment. I liked your opions and thought you wouldnt have even know who he was leave alone liked the reasons why he did it.

From what I know Fawkes was a Jesuit. He was attempting to bring England under catholic rule. The vatican had tried to that many times before.

There is always wierd things going on. Take the American Civil War for instance. The one book that sparked the gas can was... drumroll... Uncle Toms Cabin! The lady that wrote that, Harriet Stowe or something like that was in league with the vatican. The man that shot Abraham Lincoln, John Wilkes Boothe, when he escaped the theater where he shot the president, he escaped to Harriets home. He was found at her home. It turns out the Boothe even admitted to being a jesuit.

I was always told Boothe broke his leg when jumping from the balony where Lincoln was seating and only got to a warehouse where he was found.
