I think alot of people would want to know these things. I was around for some of the early days, but unfortunately didn't sign up on the forum for a while so wasn't really aware of what was going on.

I wonder if J-Dawg is good at this game. Hmmm are all game creators good at the game they make? What if they suck! That'd be kind of hilarious!

I played there for a while, and eventually acquired Jason's msn from the community. I tried not to bug him so much back then, because I thought he was a busy man. I still believe he's a busy man, so I've never really wanted to waste his time.

Or how about when supers were introduced I believe it was May 2005

The market was put into play around November 2005

MSs came into play around then there too

Or ascension was added I believe in September 2005... If I remember right there was curiousity to see who would ascend first. Admin also said that no one would ascend again before the end of the year. That was proven wrong really early.

Some history was back when miners were put into place. It was a server wide PPT and when everyone came off, it was a server wide farmfest. Enough to crash the server. Ever since then, admin has learned to stagger peoples PPT. If I remember again, there was another server wide crash another time because of a farm fest...

Then here was the time that AC units were added in to counter act spies since they were untouchable It was in part ot a person's ability in quantum to build a huge defense and a huge covert and be untouchable...

How about recently when lifers could be used to kill AC units, but no one seems to like to for the most part...

Oh yea, alliances were introduced around June 2005 if I remember correctly. Aeon Kings, UTA, Omega, Order of Chaos, and EPA were all names created around then...

There were wars back then... OoC vs EPA, Tauri Alliance vs I can't remember..

Then there were names lost in the history of SGW...

Yeah, I'm still here.

Incidentally, EPA, TA and OoC were all created within the first 2-3 of weeks of the game starting - the EPA being the last of the 3 around 16th Feb. There were probably others around at the time, but those are the ones I definately recall. I believe Omega started on Quantum first (I was in it), and then migrated to Main.

Wars - yeah TA/EPA V OoC was an ongoing battle over the first few months. Then the TA main players dispersed and the TA/EPA alliance seemed to just melt away. Then came the EPA Vs The Order war (still the best war ever in my opinion).

Early on a lot of alliances were race oriented too - for example, EPA was Tauri & Asgard Only, as was TA - OoC were mainly Goa'uld. Later the EPA let a couple of Goa'uld in as Tok'ra (_Rob1_ was one of them) and was one of the last big alliances to finally allow all races in - around December 2005.

I also remember Jason saying multiple ascensions would be difficult - and it would've been had it not been for some other updates.

There's too much history to mention really - I wonder if a few of us should get together to chronicle the official SGW history??

Some of us stood up agaisnt the 4th MT. Wolf is back now, Pookie has the right to 'go off the forums' He is a person at the end of the day, and if he isnt happy spending his free time on here then he doesnt have to.

Why would Allison and Bill return because Wolf359 and Buck did ? Last time I heard they didnt want to play anymore ? I dont think 2 old skool mods would spark them back into playing. But who knows, Ive seen stranger things happen on these forums.

I remember when the game started (and OoC as well).

While I was busy with the army and didnt play then, THE SAZ and OoC used a fourm I run (Saz was an admin there too, still is even if innactive) to host a hidden subfourm for the OoC to use, but then someone got access, and saz deleted almost everything (a few threads still around, including one OoC/TA war planning thread, and one were someone was posting how they were saving up to get an X302)

lol, i remember that forum, we all had access in the ta, it wasnt protected at all

those were some fun times, saz and ste were great enemies

and yeah, getting 1 x302 at the time was really hard, i still remember i was really happy when i got my first one

i remember being chuffed to bits because I could afford 1 X302 per day! lol!

I remember sabbing wolf359 in the Order Vs Epa War that went on a good 17 months, He never found out it was me...TILL NOW!!!!
