Honestly, I think that limit sucks. 600x480 screen resolution became obsolete AGES ago. With this I have to look at some pics with magnifying glass.

good grief do you all every give yourselves chance! I mean if its not the community, its the mods, if its not the mods, its the admin, if its not the admin, its an update, if its not an update, its a person, if its not a person its a forum feature.
Can you not just give your arses chance to stop bleeding for a moment, and take a breath from the consistent whining. Its really getting tiring coming into general and just seeing topic after topic after topic of problem after problem after problem. This isnt even in the right section for gods sake!
I voted no, purely out of spite to another moaning topic. I starting to get confused whether im playing this game with semi mature adults, or complete and utter babies. God I havnt seen such complaining since I witnessed the suffragets back in the day!
(Tok'ra its annoyed, not annoied, just thought id point it out for ya man.)

The average screen width may be bigger - but, the forum isn't. The forum is designed for a smaller width and it's current size ensures that it fits all screen resolutions.
Why the need to post larger images anyway, can't they simply be resized before posting?

Besides, I prefer my pictures to be no more than a quarter of my screen in size.

Tok'ra there are people that are trying to work with you, but
all you've said is:
(1) I like it the old way
(2) I'm annoyed
(3) and insulted someone, if anyone, who put the limit on
It may be just my perspective in this issue, but the argument for this change seems very weak...
are there substantial points?

1- your a **Filtered** that doesnt botehr to read posts it seems.

Dunno what the SGW fourms avg resolution is, last I heard from smoosh he was going to g et bazsy to see if the fourm recorded that data.
2- Damn skippy Im annoied, it used to be a lot better before the upgrade

3- As I recall, its a standard feature for this version of php, basicly its the defualt setting that noone botherd to change.
4- One again if you had BOTHERD to read the thread isntead of just **Filtered** to me, you woulda seen suggestions, such as making the software limit be 1500 pixels, but enforcing a smaller limit in most cases (with the exception being pic threads, screencap threads, spam temple, etc etc)
That way, larger is possible, but common sense must be used when posting.
In summary: Spacey is an ass that is incapable of even READING a thread before commenting.
I'm sorry to those who will disagree with me for saying this, but I've waited too long...
Tok'ra you have absolutely NO right to speak to Spacey that way, you really don't have the room to talk. You are one of the most annoying people I have ever seen on this forum. Spacey has worked his ass off doing work here and all you do is try to ruin it. If you have so many problems with the forum, please leave, go make your own where you can be your own god, and let us have peace.

I never said there weren't suggestions.
I asked you if you had substantial points.
I said that you arguement for it, in my opinion, is weak.

the only reason give for not using attachments is that people (you) don;t want to...
the limit you speak of working on the old forum was mods removing picts that were too large and stretched the pages... that was the real limit
