Foe... or friend

Friends enable you quick access to members you communicate with frequently. If the template has relevant support any posts made by a friend may be highlighted.
While I have seen many people praise the 'Add foe' feature (haven't tried it myself because I don't believe in ignoring problems to make them go away, but that is irrelevant to this topic), I have tried the 'Add friend' feature myself but it doesn't seem to make any bit of difference.
Just curious, anyone else using it? Does it work for you? If so, what forum skin/style are you using?

Added you as a friend... We'll see what it does, other than tell me whether or not you're online.

with friend, you can more easily add them to pm recipient, and you can see their online status from PM sending window + UCP...

True, forgot that... but no highlighted posts though, right?
I've no intention of changing my current forum skin/template, fits with my browser theme too well... but for the sake of curiosity, let's see...

Doesn't work with any of the themes I've tried. I guess I'll just have to pay attention to what I read

It does highlight messages in your PMbox.. gives some information on them.
Not much tho, just 'from a friend' by some weird-ish brown color bar on both sides of it.
