Sort out the alliance nonsense

Let's face it, most of the alliances are in a mess. This business of officers just jumping on any co, any alliance, is total bs.

Make the game more race-centric AND alliance-centric. Disable the ability of officers to have co's in different alliances than theirs, and vice versa. Of course there are alliances of alliances and within alliances, which is a problem - but not an insurmountable one. Make each alliance declare their allegiance with another alliance, or a sub-alliance, and allow crossover then. If the alliance breaks up for any reason, those who were in both have to CHOOSE which one to stay with.

In other words, you can't join an alliance if ANYONE in your chain of command is in another alliance outwith one which is an ally or sub-alliance.

On the race issue, a small bonus for alliances whose members are exclusively one race.

Personally I'd start by deleting all the alliances that have less than 50 members. Sounds a lot? But you can do it with only 2 players with 24 officers each. Or 5 players with 9 officers each. And you could still set up alliances within alliances, and ally with other alliances. Just make the boundaries clearer!

Why such a large number as 50 I mean their are some alliances who have far less then that yet are quite powerful in themselves look at TO.

Great idea, makes no sense that people who are your "officers" are in another alliance that may become hostile. conflict of interests.

Yeah I didn't mean 50 alliance members - as things stand if you did that there'd only be 8 alliances left standing. :-)

I meant 50 in total (including all the officers and heirarchy). I'm just suggesting that those officers shouldn't be allowed to be in other alliances, outwith their co's (or the alliances training/sub-alliances).

That's what I'm suggesting primarily. Making it a requirement to form an alliance that the alliance leader has a heirarchy of at least 50 people was a side issue/afterthought. The primary suggestion, is to make it compulsory for ALL members of an alliance heirarchy to be in the same alliance/sub-alliance (or no alliance at all).

If this was to be introduced I think you would need to introduce it with an overhaul of the ascended races. (Ie reducing their overall bonus and adding a benefit and weakness on a couple of stats etc) If there was an overhaul of that then a bonus to race alliances it would be neat.
