SGW Poker

As it was requesting that discussion be kept on the topic of Gears of War in the "SGW Competitions?" thread I thought I'd just go ahead and make a separate one for Poker.
Who's up for it? Any online software that allows people to play for free is fine by me. I already have the William Hill, Full Tilt Poker and Poker Stars software installed so any of those would be preferable, but if someone wants to recommend anything better, go for it.
Suggested stake... 500 bill naq per person? I think that amount would keep it friendly.
Example of possible winnings structure:
10 Player Game
1st - 2.5 Trillion
2nd - 1.5 Trillion
3rd - 1 Trillion
6 Player Game
1st - 2.5 Trillion
2nd - 500 Billion
Would really like to get something like this going as a weekly thing.
What's the verdict?

I'd be very interested.
Would it have to be naq though? Or say the UU/Turns equivalent?

sounds great but I'm a poor n00b ingame and would take me months to raise 500 bil
if anyone is interested in a game with lesser stakes i'd definately be up for it.. texas hold-em rules

what about maybe different size games? maybe some with smaller stakes and ones with bigger stakes so people arent too scared by it?

Problem with UU/Turns equivalents is people being passed certain limits.
If we had a tournament where everyone put in a certain number of turns as a stake, the winner of the tournament probably wouldn't even be able to accept them all.
And with UU, they might (like myself) be passed the cap on being sent UU.
Since there's no cap on how much Naq someone can have, it just makes sense to have that resource as the stake. I realise some smaller players who get involved in this may not have the bank capacity to hold such an amount, but they could always go on PPT to receive it. And even then, it's not like they'll have the Naq long. I'm sure they'll find plenty of ways to spend it.

Somebody just needs to make a suggestion. I don't know about other GMT players, but I'd be up for late games. Anything up to 3am-4am most days would probably be fine.
Because there is SUCH a difference in time for some people, maybe we could have a tournament earlier in the evening so UK players had a chance (or anyone else who's able to be online) and then a later game for the US players (or again, anyone else who's able to be online at that time).
For example, an early game:
12:00pm PST
3:00pm EST
8:00pm GMT
And a later game:
6:00pm PST
9:00pm EST
2:00am GMT
Again, these are only examples, but I'd appreciate comments. Also, I don't know what day would be best for everyone, but I'll just throw
Wednesday out there for now. If anyone else would like to suggest a different day, by all means, please.

Yes, of course. Smaller games could be set up. Of course, I myself would only be looking to play stakes of at least 500 bill, but if anyone else reading this threads wants to set up a smaller game, go ahead.

I would be interested but its dependend on when. I am doing alot of over time so would have to play on a week to week basis. Some weeks I might be working, some weeks I might not be so I wouldn't be able to make a commitment anymore than a week away.

Shall we say 8:00pm GMT this Wednesday for the first game then?
Yes, Texas Hold'em.
I'd vote for "No" on rebuys.
I'm up for anything between 500 bill and 2 trill Naq as a stake. As I suggested in the original post, if we got a 10 person game going, we'd have winnings for 1st, 2nd and 3rd and for 6 person games, just 1st and 2nd.
Anyway yeah, if we say the first game is 8:00pm GMT, presumably for mainly UK players and then another game later that evening at 2:00am GMT for the late-nighters and non-UK residents.
If we can get a list of people who are definitely playing first, that'd make sense.

Im up for it,
Set up more than one table though, Have those higher stakes games less often (once a week) and then a few lower stakes games more often (4 or 5 times a week) lets people like reapern00b play too
And also lets me clean up on the smaller guys...
