First, I'm going to thank the group that been getting a lot of attention, be it good or bad: The moderators!

What exactly is a mod? somebody who can open and close forums and edit out bad words and pictures?
If that's a mod, a bot can do it.

A mod is someone who can sway opinion. Someone who can construct change by making a few posts. Somebody with respect.

Why be a mod? For power? For respect?
Those mods don't last long. To be a good mod, you should already have those two qualities before modship. So I would think, for the goodness of the community.

So mods, thank you for spending your time, reading every post of everythread to keep the atmosphere friendly and the forums worth reading.

I'm thankful that massive war threads have become civil for the most part nowadays. The Legions war has been clean for the most part and DDE's own war has been a joy to read. I'm glad these things are still possible.

Im thankful that I have 2 great boys one that 7 and one that is 2. And a great wife that puts up with me. Its hard to find one of those.

hmm, upload to youtube... that'd be interesting... hey, i could even get two different angles with the two different webcams i have...
