To the SGW Community,

To the SGW Community,
I would like to take this time on behalf of the Dirty Dozen to say thanks for all the fun over the past years. However there comes a time when having a lot of power or having a lot of good relationships within our NAP network is not enough. Sometimes the ability for a person or in this case a team to take a look in the mirror and do a gut check and realize that our time has come is hard. In this case however, even though hard, the realization has come that with the evolution of the game things do change and a team needs to change with them.
DD as a team has always been ultra close. However many know that closeness while good in battle or in friendships is important. In a game like this activity and the ability to act as 1 is paramount. DD has lost that fire. Whether it is from the management being too busy, members being too busy, or a combination of both the fact remains. Instead of pruning our membership into smaller numbers crushing very close friendships and such we will in fact officially be retiring as a team immediately. This was to come Saturday but now works just as well too.
Many of those on DD will move on to new homes, some may go solo, some may just retire like I have done, and others may band together and form a new alliance. But in the end it is important for me to thank all of my members over the years and thank all of our allies over the years. That ranges from Omega, DDE, FAHQ, TL, TO, and some smaller groups as well. I must also say thanks to the community for their part in what has made DD what it is and was. Also thanks to admin for bringing this game about to form and bond so many new relationships worldwide.
While I am known for my big posts privately this one will be rather short.
Once again thanks to everyone in the DD Family, Our Allies, The Community, and The game administration. It has been a pleasure working with you all, fighting with you and against you, and more so been a pleasure meeting you all. While DD officially retires today and the individual members move onward in the SGW Universe I felt important that everyone publically know why and to let everyone know that from me personally I appreciate everything.

) I thought I'd never see the day 
I am saddened by this event as I see a part of my history in this game going too. I have enjoyed being at your side on many occassions and thank you for having been at mine. Much like PSICOLIX did, I have named a planet Dirty Dozen Forever .. as the bond I shared with ur alliance only grew stronger and I was glad to be a part of it.
hopefully u will find new directions in the game and hope to speak to more of u that remain
