Show PPT number

I have a suggestion that is just something small, but I believe would be useful to many people. This could be listed under the military experience. Just a line showing the number of PPTs your account has been put on.

This would help in calculations involving what your bank size will be in the future or how many miners you need to get for a specific bank size.

Anyone else see this as something useful? Or am I just weird?

You can figure it out yourself by multiplying the increase you get from one PPT (see Market) (=I) by 10, substracting it from the maximum safe capacity (=M) and dividing by I... something like:

Code: Select all

N=(M - 10*I)/I = M/I - 10

But I have nothing against implementing your idea if admin thinks it's worth it... :-)

I guess you could always do that too....but for those mathematically challenged, then I guess my idea would be nice.

I don't have an issue with calculating it myself, but it would be nice to not have to do so.

ya this would make it easyer then having to do calculations to figure out something simple like that

good idea

I like it. I'm going to go and try that formula now.

The formula does work but it would still be nice to have this addition which is only going to be strictly informative, so it's not like anyone gains anything by it other than about 30 seconds of their time when they want to know how many PPT have been used.

The only thing I can see that would change due to this is that when accounts are being sold, the amount of PPTs used on that account could affect its price. But I don't think it'll make that much difference there.

but as you said the new owner could just use the formula anyway so it wouldn't really make a difference

hmm isn't that formula a bit off since the increase your bank gets due to PPT changes aswell..

anyways this suggestion would be an okay add, if only for pure information since it server not much meaning..

for us we had to round the number... (it gave something like 38.9999553

Yeah, well, I assume it's because the bank size increase has to be rounded in the first place... if you have, say, 101 original maximum capacity, you probably only get a 10 increase (instead of 10.1).

Yea, I had to round my result as well, but it works. I got like 24.00018....

it is quite easy to interpret the result...

but due to it being hard to figure out (the formula), we will post a slightly easier-to-read version here...

your:
N=(M - 10*I)/I = M/I - 1

easier ones:

number of ppts:
Max capacity for bank - increase*10
increase

so to do it:
you find the max capacity for your bank and the amount one ppt increases.
first, you take the increase, and multiply it by 10
then you subtract that number from the max capacity
then you divide the result above, with the increase
finally, you round the result to the nearest whole number...

Well actually its a lot more complex than that.. money SS gives a 20% bonus and every ascension gives you a money SS.. theres also USS which gives 100% bonus. So.. depending on the number of ascensions youve done and how you got real SS... it could vary quite substantially from what you get from above formula.

You see, that I didn't know... I never spent any $$ on this game, or any other online game for that matter.
So, each ascension gives double the bonus a PPT does? Good to know...
