i need an anime along the lines of
Haruhi Suzumiya, or Fooly Cooly/furi kuri/flcl

but no lucky star i watched the 1st episode and was like, wait i think i'm missing some something, was i supposed to take crack before hand?

Nagasarete Airantou!!!! its a great cute anime =) i really enjoy it!

Fruits Basket, Great Teacher Onizuka, Gakuen Heaven, Ouran High School Host Club, Green Green, Seto no Hanayome...there most of the happy sort i know and have watched

lucky star is good, you just have to get use to it because its so different. probably because it originated as a 4 panal weekly strip, so the ep stories get a little wacky.

as for others, inukami, minami-ke, and ninomiya-kun are al pretty funny and a little ecchi.

Lucky Star is easily my favourite anime i'd hang in there if i were you....

another anime that is probably just under lucky star for me (not quite as good but better than most) is Genshiken, its really funny... to me its a brilliant anime

its about a hostile for girls and this young guy is the manager.. He really likes this girl in there but is afrai to tell it out.. Its more comedy and love really. But a great anime i watched it and enjoyed. it feels untill last esipode that they were not meant to be togethere but at last they get married. only up to there the episodes are there. only in the manga the marriage and after that is there

hehe yeah its pretty cool (although i havent finished reading it yet...)

but a good laugh

love hina is good haven't seen it an ages an just hearing the name got the opening song stuck in my head xD

tenchi muyo...lol I keep thinking of Washu an the "sample" she wanted to get xD that part of it stuck with me lol poor and lucky Tenchi

i rather enjoyed it, for what i've seen of it.

an anime that parady's itself has to be good :-p

i thought it was and never got into it (not much into that sorta thing.)
