Star Fleets

Okay, as of now, there is only the one mothership available for each player. Now I don't know about you, but in Stargate SG-1 I often see fleets of a mothership and multiple smaller cruisers, etc.
So: how about for 450k naquadah (starting price for a mothership) any player can construct a cruiser for their fleet, named >insert race name< Cruiser, ie Replicator Cruiser, Asgard Cruiser, etc. You can add shields and weapons to them, like the mothership, up to 25 of each. Cruisers can be damaged (like fleets) in addition to having weapons/shields destroyed, and can be used to conquer planets, like fleets. They are not subject to sabatoge. Each cruiser starts with a capacity of 25 for shields and weapons, and shows up as a separate bar at the bottom of the mothership page.
With cruisers would come another attack option: Engage Fleet. This pits your fleet against your target's fleet, no ground troops involved. There is no naquadah captured or units, this attack is purely to weaken an opponents defenses. Like planet capturing, these attacks require a flat 15 turns.
Also with cruisers would come another technology upgrade:
Replicator: nanite repair (reduces damage dealt to cruisers)
Asgard: advanced shield array (increased defense)
Tau'ri: advanced comminications array (increased attack)
Goa'uld: advanced engine power (no special result, just a slight increase to everything)
The specials are in accordance with each race's unique charicteristic. Only cruisers are affected.
