I have been hit a few times as a result of the OSL war
and only I think one time so far I threatened someone and that was because they stole a planet from me.
Otherwise, i've been hit a few other times and havn't said anything to the person, but then farming itself is farming.
I don't really do to much vulture-finger pointing at anyone, but I like your definition the most.

me definition of a vulture is someone who hits you for your naq even after he has been warned not to do it anymore.
not everyone reads a forum so unless that person is sent a warning he/she does not count as vulture to me

Vultures are modded - squishie - swearing if you ask me... So what if you're at war... For example, aeon knights, have around half of alliance in pergatory... yesterday, 3 of them had 40bil+ naq out, with 0 def! Of course, i hit them... then the msgs, we are at war... stop it...
so, has war become a new form of PPT? kind of paradoxal don't you think?
from now on, BWP, BWN and BWB are officaly in war with eachother... others are not alowed to attack us any more... see my point?
But back to your question m8, what is a vulture?
Someone who is rapidly farming someone while he is trying to rebuild due to war... Either the war is finished, or he is just trying to build some defence for enemy to have fun. And becouse of farming, he is loseing defence faster than he is building it... This is not nice and i hold myself not to do this... But if the persone has 0 defence and does not show any sign of effort to rebuild it... I don't care if he is in war, if he has a big sum of naq out, BAM.
Just a little thought from my side
cheers

I class a vulture as someone who hits you for naq that normally wouldnt be able to, who is just trying to benefit from your lack of defence due to war.

Heres my definition.
A vulture is someone that uses the fact that someone is at war, and will constantly farm them for there naq, well over 3 times a week. A vulture is NOT someone that attacks an allinace that is at war a few times, if someone has a reasonable amount of naq out, then its fair game. If your at war, it doesnt make you any bit better, higher or better than anyone else, and if you have a descent amount of naq out, then its fair game.
PS...I am making this thread because ceartain people think that if you attack them once, you get a warning, attack them twice, you and your allinace is massed. This is childish in my opinion, you lose stuff in war, we all know this, why make such a big deal out of it?
If you attack some that will destroy you for doing so, then deal with it, they can call you what they want, fact is, you're stepping on their toes, if they have a low defence and you take their naq, that's all well and good for you, if they decide to wipe you out after, don't complain.

*chuckle* - best one yet.
It makes me laugh that people get warned not to 'be a vulture' if someone is in a war. Like I said on another one of these topics about 2 or 3 weeks ago, sometimes the only chance some people get for revenge is when one of their normally untouchable adversaries is in a war. Therefore some of these bigger players/alliances should EXPECT that when they enter into a war then others will hit them too. At the same time, those that hit them should realise there is likely to be retaliation.
Oh, and can we make this the last topic on the subject!? Pleeeaaaasse?

I guess people would rather that their enemies have their naq. Funny if you ask me.

If you farm someone, you're taking a chance that they won't retaliate and do so with disproportionately higher force. Personally, I don't care if I'm at war or not. If you farm me, even a single naq hit, I will make sure that hits costs you hundreds of billions of naq.
Not one to be accused of double standards, I have a strict policy about farming active players. If you're active and have not hit me in any way, you will not be farmed regardless of your naq to defense ratio.
On a few rare occasions, I've farmed an active player in the game when I knew they would be hit by someone else anyway and immediately brokered their naq back to them, as a courtesy.

I'm all about double standards and I encourage it within Omega, we hit you, you don't hit us, if you do, we destroy you, don't like it, then cry to someone else, we aint changing.

someone who farms me when I have no defence and who could not have beat my original defence before the war = vulture
someone who farms me when I have no defence but has a high enough strike to have beat my original defence = no vulture, but will be massed anyway
