I know it's been suggested before, but here is a poll to make it more clear to see how much like/dislike current autogenerating of ATs in the game market. Vote the poll!

if there is no additional generation of AT's through the market the pace of the game slows immensely. Assuming you are still able to use broker to trade AT's then the people with FSS (either purchased or ascended) will have the ability to grow further. But with so many players wanting to purchase AT's the price would skyrocket, meaning only those able to pay top $$ will be able to take advantage of it. Thus, further widening the gap between big and small.
If auto-generation is taken away then it needs to be balanced so as not to disadvantage the small-mid sized players as much.

all the markets are based off of supply&demand... so if it were removed, for a short while, prices would go up, but eventually, they'll balance out on a higher level, when it no longer is worth it to sell the ATs...

They're already expansive...but if ingame market dont autogenerate, we'll not be looking at ATs as we do now. Prices will grow, but strategy will too

the big players would buy tens of thousands with small players left in the cold
see right now everyone can get lots of attack turns which is better then just the top 100

What none of you noticed is:
Market doesn't generate turns anymore, so EVEN if you are big, you can't have unlimited supply.
Turns become more rare, it means farms have MORE naq and MORE uu on the open, which means that even small players can take naq to grow faster, as dont forget fact big players can't raid.
It means also NO MORE bloody sunday and all of that, because now you haven't unilimted ATs so you CAN'T mass the server! It also means you have LESS time to spend on the game as you have LESS turns, so it's better for you!
You see more advantages than disadvantages

what you haven't noticed yet is the big players can just buy turns off other people like they used to(including me)before ingame market is introduced
and if your wondering no this doesn't give advantages to little players selling for large amounts because big players can get oh so much more
plus your forgetting wars if you big players can buy unlimited turns but the small players have to wait for turns then you have the big players farming everyone on turn change and the small players able to do NOTHING

when turns become rarer, people are less willing to sell them, then those wishing to buy, will have to pay more...

Probably a coding nightmare here but why not separate markets with separate rates for players of different army sizes. it is already partly there. if you are new to the game the market rates look awesome, but as soon as you get MSS or FSS the rates go to the abysmal crap we have now. and take away transfer ability of AT. before you moan and groan, add a way to transfer AT through an "alliance bank" type update.
make 1 market rate set for every 50 mil army size (just thought i'd throw that out there)
can not transfer AT outside of alliance and 20% tax of AT transferred through alliance (another toss)
taxed amount returns to market. everyone buys from same supply so "little" guys can grow faster? might help with balance? maintain dynamic prices but give discounts according to market level.
i know, would be a major update, coding nightmare, and require months of debate, just thought i would throw my 2 cents in.

Agreed excepted for alliance, lets say 10%, and out of alliance hmmm I think make it be a MT use instead of no possibility

I dont get what you mean for 50mil army size thing...I hope it means like bigger (let's say lifers/miners) you are, more expansive it gets and difficult to get.
For tax thing it's WAY WAY BETTER than autogeneration, at least it grows not only by selling to market, but also it's not auto thing you have to sit and buy!

just to put it in perspective:
0-50 mil total army size would have best rates at market
50-100 mil next best rates and so on, bigger army = crappier rates.
and for this to be effective, AT trade outside alliance would have to be stopped, otherwise what is to keep Mr. 300 mil army size from using his friend Mr 20 mil army size's acct to drain the market of AT's thus giving him the cheaper rate.
i also think the tax on AT should be higher to ensure a steady supply of AT at the market and to discourage taking advantage of the system by larger players (if the market rate of a small player is 30% cheaper than that of a 300 mil player then going through the hassle of abusing the system would result in only a 10% reduction in cost)
here is the part u wont like, while this method does supply AT to the market through the proposed alliance bank function tax, auto generation of turns would still be necessary to keep the market from going bankrupt on AT.

Hmmm since no cross alliances trade would be done I wonder if autogenerate would work well (better than now)...but...well...what about officers/commander trades if NOT from same alliance??
