I used my 3MT's on UU, didnt get the UU

Mine just worked, the market does not reset until the turn change after 00:00 game time, maybe you clicked before the TC but after 00:00?

Nope, this was well into the afternoon of Monday GMT and all 3 of my market turns were used, today it says I haven't used any....

There was a db crash yesterday, we are unsure when the crash started. This might be related. 
If it is correct now, I would like to ascribe this one to 'freak accidents'. If it happens again, we will tear it apart and look for the -then apparent- problem.
