Re: how to raid?
NG has a FAQ.. well.. a tutorial for each page, and a 'welcome' PM.. and question bubbles explaining pretty much everything.
It is the most documented of all our games - which isn't saying that much I'll admit, but I am quite sure this is covered.
Raiding (Gate Operation)
Raiding is done through the Stargate - it ignores Fleet action and carrying capacity for soldiers and resources.
Raiding has the following requirements:
- Stargate constructed in both the attacker's and target realm.
- Attackers armed with Tier 1 or Tier 2 weapons (Gate-capable).
- The attacker must have Daily Raiding Capacity left.
A raid is successful when the attacker's Gate strike power exceeds the target's defence power.
A raid, if successful, will result in a number of Untrained Units being taken from the defender and transferred to the attacker's realm. The number is dependent on the available Untrained Units in the target realm and the attacker's remaining Daily Raiding Capacity.
WARNING: While the attacking force is limited to Tier 1 and Tier 2 weapons, the defender is not and can field Tier 3 weapons in defence of their realm.
NOTE: Daily Raiding Capacity resets at 00:00 Game Time, its initial value is 100% of your Daily Unit Production.

Good to hear. Please do let me know if/when there are other unclear situations.
