Re: Stargate universe
Hmm not sure about the spin off movies, the last 2 were just like overpriced 2 part episodes and frankly there were 2 parters in the series that were far better than the movies.
If it was going to lead to a new series, that would get my blood pumping but as 'just another' straight to DVD attempt to milk the brand for more money, not so much.

Re: Stargate universe
Personally I think they should have stopped it at Season seven for Sg-1. Seasons 8-10 were disappointing for me. I know if they stopped at 7 it would leave a lot of things undone and unfinished but they were slowly choking the life out of it and SGU is the final shot to the head. SGU seems like a rip off of Star Trek.

I agree totally. Being in the military myself I HATE civilians telling me what to do. A military ship/base should NEVER be run by civilians. It's bad enough the Pres is a civilian. Civilians are scientists and advisors, nothing more.........

Re: Stargate universe
The casting list is up. I am .. mixed on their choices. Something like ; as eye candy, good choice, as talented actors/actresses .. perhaps sparse is a good word.
The plots I've seen so far seem questionable. I don't watch the OC for a reason
I will be giving it a go though. I have been proved wrong series wise before. Premiere is summer time I think.
P,S Rodney McKay FTW

Re: Stargate universe
Slightly off subject, but when is season 5 of SGA supposed to be released on DVD? Missed all of it except season premier because of being stuck over here too.

Re: Stargate universe
I'm sure it's on wikipedia. They usually have the release dates for all time zones.
