Question on boosting def/off/covert/MS rank

I've searched the forums and couldn't find the answer I was looking for.

I'm just about at the stage where I can push my stats up for ascending (maybe one more week of raiding and I'm there).

I understand that all stats contribute to overall rank, but which stat is easiest to push up to gain rank eg:

Everyone has to have def to defend their naq so that will obviously be hardest. Most people will have a MS of some sort either so that may also be difficult to push rank up in.

I'm thinking covert/anti-covert would be the stats to go after. Am i somewhere near the mark or completely off the planet?

Sorry if this is a stupid question but I couldn't find it anywhere else,

Re: Question on boosting def/off/covert/MS rank

I have found that attack is easy to gain rank in. However, that was a month ago, so it may be different. But the best thing you can do, is bring up whatever stat is your lowest. Balanced stats are the best way to gain rank.

Attack is almost always the easiest - assuming your account is already balanced.

I've always gone the Max out defense, covert, M/S - then jump ranks with attack approach.

Initially attack is the best as defence is always high, but its better to bump up lowest stats to get an overall balance, i found that the easiest way to ascend.

Get your ranks of all stats as close together as possible and then you will easily get up in the rankings.
If you keep your Att/Def/MS at rank 6k and your covert at rank 100 it wont really push your rank up that much its better to have all at rank 1k :)

yeah, balance all of your stats. though attack is one of the easier ones to increase rank. Then once your reasonably close to G&R range, it sometimes helps to untrain some of your miners and put them into AC.

Depends what race you are, go for you bonus. I found mothership deffense to be somewhat easy though. But you should have some balance too.

Re: Question on boosting def/off/covert/MS rank

After boosting up attack and defence, placing somewhere from 100000-200000 in spy and anti-covert really boosts your overall ranking. Also your rankings for each stat dont stay constant, they will start droping fairly quickly, so if you want to rush through this, then do it fairly quickly.

Actually, I'd say once your break the top 1K, your stats will probably hold long enough for your to comfortably work on the others. The hard part is just breaking through each stat's individual plateau formed by the n00b masses.

At least, i've never had a problem holding onto rank once I've gotten it. :)
