I wouldnt count on the fact you've seen the last of the SLA, and disrespecting an alliance who help found the roleplaying aspect on SGW is really sad, and you should be ashamed. For all their short-comings, they were good guys, and just wanted to have fun, they all weren't great SGW players, but they tried.
One thing SLA had that most alliances these days lack is a true character, and a never-dieing spirit. I was proud to serve in SLA for my part, and when my alliance waged war on them, I was saddened deeply and even helped many of them rebuild.
Tnarg has always said, "So long as I am alive, SLA will be too." and hes always stood true to that. SLA is in many Goa'uld hearts, and they will not be forgotten.
I have always been a friend to SLA, and I always will be. Insulting them and making fun of them is really unbecoming. They should be honoured, especially by other goa'ulds.....
To see my brothers making fun, is not something thats sitting well with me.

Re: The Demise of the SLA?! (the Tnarg one)
I remember when I was co-leading the UTA at one time I offered to personally protect Tnarg and the SLA, told him I would always help him out if needed be. But he never got back to me....

Didn't they try to make a comeback a while ago? I remember a topic somewhere about Tnarg trying to ally himself with Omega.

That alone puts them ahead of many alliances still together today.

Age old saying that, "Dont bring a knife to a gun fight"

Meh! They didn't disappear at all from memories. SLA is more known than most of page 2-3-4 alliances, while they haven"t been on top for a very long time.

False, I didn't. And I'm not alone.

Uhm yeah.. I thought it was obvious that my comment was sarcastic and not intended to be taken 100% literally. But thanks for shattering that illusion, Apophis.
I wasn't really disrespecting them, either, just making a comment on the fact they did get into wars a lot and they were continually picked on by a lot of alliances. I don't think anybody can really dispute that they were whipping boys for a lot of people.
I got on well with Tnarg though, and I agree that the SLA will no doubt make a comeback should he ever return to proper activity.

Wanted to say I haven't been part of "groups" who massed them: I'm sure alot of new players would say they never massed them, but that doesn't count, as I meant that I never jumped on bandwagon(s) ganging up on SLA.
At least I don't have it on my conscience 'lol)
