Just wanted to add something to what I posted above about farming.

EPA's policy and subsequently Terra Protectorate's policy in regards to farming is to recoup any losses from the attackers alliance mates if it is not possible to do so directly from the attacker.

So the only reason Terra Protectorate members would EVER farm any active account or accounts of those in active alliances are if someone or you yourself farmed Terra Protectorate.

This message is primarily aimed at huxley who has decided that 5p4z attacking 3 members of alpha in order to recouperate losses from eros's farming is a major issue worthy of my attention.

And so it might just be, on a side note, if your empire is in your war, then your terra protectorate, Just lost it's protection!

That might be true if you are assuming we could not fight a battle on more than one front.

That also assumes that should Terra Protectorate be backed into a corner that they cannot fight themselves. Which could not be further from the truth.

There not good enough or not active enough to be in the epa so you made another allaince but you protect them. Thats what I see you saying. You should of just said training allaince but you might of said that I forget.

EPA = Alliance that will mass you if you attack their smaller brothers who are just trying to grow up.

TP - Smaller brother alliance to EPA who are trying to grow up but have EPA backing them if needed.

ME - Guy who remembers how the game used to be like when if you had protection from a larger alliance you had it made, not in the n00by way where you attack me twice and I send you a message going im gonna get "INSERT POWERFUL ALLIANCE" to mass you and your whole alliance that we have today!!!!

IF EPA are in a war they don't want TP dragged into it, just becuase of something that they do. They are seperate entities.. So it's like if I went up to you and 5 of your mates, punched one of them in the face and started giving him a beating he probably deserves, I would expect the 5 of ye to come towards me fists flying. But what I don't expect is that ye go after my baby brother and beat the crap out of him and he is clueless as to whats going on..

The idea of it has been explained several times by several people, so I thought rather than explaining at insult may help.

It's a shame the standard of comment in this forum is even worse than when I left - or is it that people simply like to shout, criticise and attempt to be funny before they READ what is actually said (or are unable to do otherwise)?

Basically, Brian said in his initial post:

1. TP are part of the EPA and the EPA will attack those people who attack TP without provocation.

(the bit in bold, italic, red, underlined writing is a hint!)

2. He also said that TP should not be farming/raiding active accounts (and remember folks - farming is not just one or two (or even three or four, if we're honest) attacks - too many people moan about being 'farmed' after a couple of attacks).

3. If you attack TP because they have been farming/raiding you, then you have just cause to attack them back, and EPA should not intervene (see 1).

Simply - if they attack you, you can attack back - but if you farm/mass without being provoked, then you better be prepared for more attacks.

Seems extremely fair and logical to me - gives people (including TP) fair warning of how and when the EPA will become involved.

That said - it may have been more prudent to simply inform allies/certain alliances personally, and announce nothing in the forum - then simply attack those that massed/farmed/raided TP without provocation.
