Re: Not all turns traded when going into perg
he is saying if you have say 4k turns then you should only have to lose like say 720 to shift into Perg and then you would have 3250 left.... if i am wrong then ignore the next part of this post.
the whole point of perg is so that there will be a limited ammount of turns. that way people can't just sit on your account and as such extort like some people have tried to do by saying "Give me 1 mil uu or i will destroy you!" with Perg you can go in and then when they go in they have 0 AT's and have to build em up to mass you. i like it the way it is even though i am stuck there after having to go there to yell at an officer who went there and wouldn't come out.

that wont happen... simply because pergatory was and is meant to be a safe place... therefore you cant be allowed to bring ATs with you...

"Great holy armies shall be gathered and trained to fight all who embrace evil. In the name of the gods, Browsers shall be changed to carry the internet out amongst the peoples and we will spread Firefox to all the unbelievers. The power of the Firefox will be felt far and wide and the wicked users of IE shall be converted to use the true browsers."

It would totally defeat the purpose of Pergatory. It would also allow you to go in with thousands of ATs, raid, attack, and then skip straight back out again.
Most Perg updates seem to be based on the idea that Perg is full of players with lots of naq out and lots of UU. This is only because players in there have so few ATs they have to save them for a really big hit, not just blast players for small amounts of naq like on main.
If this update came in then you would see an exodus from Perg as it would be no different from main.

Re: Not all turns traded when going into perg
no. if people are running into perg to hide from others than they should have to pay a hefty price for that hiding spot. the way it is now is fair. the only other thing that i would like to see done with perg is to put an attack timer on it. something along the lines of: you may not enter pergatory for 24 or 36 hours after attacking/raiding someone.
i have seen way too many people try to make a hit on someone and then run for cover in perg right away. to that end i would actually be in favor of charging an even higher price to get into pergatory.

Re: Not all turns traded when going into perg
Well, if a player runs into Perg the player they attacked has the choice of going in after them or waiting for them to come out. No reason to allow every player in the game to be able to go into Perg, smash the players in there and get straight back out again.
You enter Perg with zero ATs and you need five days ATs to get beack out, and that is the way that it is.
And what would you do about the guys in Perg now, who lost all their ATs when they went in, and now probably have next to zero ATs on them???
Perg works just as it is. As I have said, any change would cause Perg to be obsolete and push all those players back into main.
